I enjoy working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, and any circumstance in which clients feel 'stuck.'
I specialize in relationship counseling, as well as sexuality and gender identity. I offer a nonjudgmental and safe space for you to find peace, explore what you want most in life, and reach your goals. When working with couples, I find out what each person would consider a "success" and find ways to implement these into the relationship. Communication skills, conflict resolution, and mindfulness are tools I teach.
I also am passionate about with those who are struggling with some aspect of their sexuality or gender identity. Often, adolescents and young adults suffer alone while wrestling with these issues. Therapy can offer clarity, solutions, and a place where individuals or families can establish understanding and compassion.
My background as a both high school teacher and a facilitator of parenting groups has provided great insight on the struggles adolescents and their families face. It is with great pleasure that I now help my clients find more meaning, satisfaction, and confidence.
