As we walk together on your journey to healing, possibilities are endless. Spirituality and self-care are important parts of growth and change, and I am here to help you to learn to tune in to those needs. Many times, we fall short because we are listening to the needs of the world around us, and we lose sight of our inner peace. Where do you find your peace? How can you access it daily? How can you share it with others?
I enjoy working with children and adolescents between the ages of 7 and 18 who are having difficulties with anxiety, complicated grief, low self-esteem, academic struggles, peer relationships, family relationships, or eating disorders. Parent and teacher understanding and communication are key components to finding happiness in a child.
I also enjoy working with women on various issues, especially related to grief, PTSD, and anxiety. Together we will work to find the tools that work for you. Cognitive behavioral therapy is the cornerstone of my therapeutic practice, and I often integrate journaling, art or play therapy techniques.
